Meeting Minutes
February 7, 2012
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM by Chairman of the Board of Selectmen Michael Genest in the Antrim Town Hall.
Members Present: Mr. Genest, Mr. Robertson and Mr. Tenney (arrived 7:03 PM)
Staff Present: Galen Stearns (Town Administrator)
- Mr. Genest motioned to approve the minutes of January 23, 2012, Mr. Robertson 2nd, passed 2/0
- Mr. Genest motioned to approve the sealed non-public minutes of January 23, 2012, Mr. Robertson 2nd, passed 2/0
- Mr. Genest motioned to approve the minutes of February 3, 2012, Mr. Robertson 2nd, passed 2/0
- Mr. Genest motioned to approve the sealed non-public minutes of February 21, 20123, 2012, Mr. Robertson 2nd, passed 2/0
- Mr. Elmer Arbogast of Arbogast Energy Auditing presented his report on the energy audit performed on the Town Hall which detail recommended improvements to be made. Members of the Energy committee spoke in favor of most of the recommendations in the audit and Mr. Stearns said that the majority of these items could and will be done this year out of the general government buildings maintenance budget (approx. $10,000)
- Mr. Stearns stated that the Highway Agent (Chip Craig) has contacted the State about being able to purchase the Highway department’s fuel from the State Shed the same as the Police Department does and has obtained the documents needed to get accounts set-up. The savings athe the current pricing is approximately $0.74 per gallon for diesel fuel. Mr. Genest motioned to approve the State Fuel agreement, Mr. Robertson 2nd, passed 3/0
- The board reviewed the budget presentation for the budget hearing on Thursday night.
- Mr. Genest motioned to go into Non-public session per RSA 91-A:3 II a & c Public Employee and Reputations, Mr. Robertson 2nd. Roll vote all in favor passed 3/0
- The board returned from non-public at 8:51 PM, Mr. Robetson motioned to seal the minutes of the non-public session, Mr. Genest 2nd passed 3/0
- There being no further business, the Mr. Robertson motioned to adjourn, Mr. Genest 2nd, passed 3/0 meeting adjourned at 8:52 PM.
